Meet Jocelyn.
Jocelyn Walters-Hird is an attorney who focuses her practice on conservation law and other real estate matters. She has provided counsel on over a hundred conservation easement and fee acquisition projects. Prior to establishing WHCL, Jocelyn was the Sr. Staff Attorney for the Minnesota Land Trust and worked as a litigator for the City of Chicago, which has informed her approach to drafting workable documents and resolving post-transaction stewardship issues. With experience as in-house counsel and private practice experience, Jocelyn has a unique skillset allowing her to problem solve and provide sound legal advice to land trusts, landowners, and other organizations.

Education and Licensure
Jocelyn earned both a Juris Doctor and a Mater of Environmental Law & Policy from Vermont Law and Graduate School (fka Vermont Law School) in 2013 and received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota-Duluth in 2008. Jocelyn is licensed to practice law in California, New Mexico, Minnesota, and Illinois, and is admitted to the US District Court of Minnesota.
